Legislative Update: SB 1175 prohibits the import and sale of zoonotic disease-carrying animals for consumption and adds 13 African species to the restricted hunting/import list.
SB 1175 has now passed the ASSEMBLY Committee on Water, Parks, and Wildlife by 8 to 3. The Appropriations Comm may be more difficult so we beseech you to send a brief note to that Comm to pass SB 1175.
